During your first visit with the orthodontist, a clinical exam will be carried out prior to discussing potential treatment options. Records like clinical photos, radiographs and impressions are taken to complete the full assessment. We will then give this consideration and at a subsequent second visit both you, the patient and any accompanying parent are encouraged to ask questions regarding your treatment. For this reason ample time is allowed for this second visit.
As well as agreeing with you the treatment plan best suited to your individual needs, we'll let you know how long we think the treatment will take and also give you an approximation of the cost. We will provide a complete clinical diagnosis along with a written summary of our findings and a detailed plan that outlines your treatment, a copy of which will be sent to your dentist.
